Received wrong order worth half the price. When I eventually got through to customer service girl was rude and completely uninterested. Asked her to send me e mail to confirm arrangements for having items returned said yes and started to finish call as I tried to give her my email. Still no e mail really expected a lot more from Kilkenny

Very unsatisfactory customer service for the online store. I wish I had read the other reviews first. The agent I spoke to was really rude and VERY unhelpful. A week on from the order date and there is still no sign of a dispatch (I phoned 6 days after the initial order date to be told "there must have been some sort of mistake, as your order has not even been processed!)....more news to follow, maybe....

I received a faulty order from Kilkenny Shop. As soon as I contacted customer service in Cork, they said they would arrange for a courier to come and collect my faulty order and they came a few days later. I received a perfect replacement by courier the next day. The lady I spoke to in Cork was very helpful and I am impressed by how they resolved my issue without question. I will be happy to shop with them again as returns are often needed on online orders and it is good to know the return process can operate smoothly. Well done the Kilkenny Shop.

They offer a 10% discount on their website for first orders. I tried to claim it but found it impossible to get their system to apply the discount. I went ahead anyway as I saw some items I liked. Placed an order and got email confirmation saying delivery times are 3-5 days within Ireland. After 3 days without any contact from courier I sent an email and got a silly excuse about stocktaking delays. On day 4, I tried to phone and left a message with an answering service. Nobody phoned back so I sent another email. Got a generic email about problems with back-office systems. On day 10, I tried to phone again - got answering service again. Received a phone call soon after, essentially blaming delays on the couriers. On day 11, I finally received confirmation from the courier that they had received the goods - according to them just that very morning. The company offered 10% refund but I am unlikely to shop with them again.

I placed my first order with Kilkenny shop. As it was my first order, I was invited to log my e- mail and receive a 10% discount code. I did the same but the discount code did not register so I ended up paying the Full amount for the items ordered.
I then contacted Kilkenny Shop via their message platform to advise them of the glitch. I expected to receive a response or explanation from them as to what happened and also to recompense me. I received NO contact from Kilkenny shop.
it is unacceptable for the Irish Consumer when we are all urged to support Irish, to accept SUBSTANDARD Customer Service from Irish businesses. I am very disappointed with the Kilkenny Shop service and I sincerely hope that they are not representative of Irish businesses who will just take advantage of the current lock down and also capitilise on Brexit constraints when dealing with us, the Irish Consumer. Just take our money and then ignore us.

Placed an order on 1st January. After waiting two weeks for any sort of update, I contacted them. And waited 3 days for a response to say the item had sold out and was there anything else I wanted instead. I replied to ask about alternatives, then checked their website and found none and asked for a refund. That was a week ago. No reply, no dispatch, no refund - radio silence. I like the Kilkenny shop and Regularly buy in the Galway branch but am really disappointed with their online customer service. Avoid as there is zero customer service for the online store.

Same as a lot of people below. Really really annoyed with Kilkenny shop. Ordered on January 9th, and now Jan 22nd and after two follow up calls by me to see where my order had gone I believe its now on its way. Item was not in stock apparently even though was on their site, but not informed about this. Terrible service and they cannot blame Brexit on this, as this is the second time I have ordered and had the same problem, ringing to see where order went too. First time they had missed it somehow!!...How can people be expected to support Irish with this level of service?

High end shop with appauling slow delivery systems. Does not make sense. Cannot trust again. If spend on higher value items, reasonable to expect high value delivery times, Covid or No Covid. UK bought gifts bought later, arrived sooner.

I am absolutely appalled at the Kilkenny Shops lack of keeping the customer in the loop after ordering I waited 10 days on my order. I then got in touch with customer service who were very nice in fairness but my order had gone out of stock. This happened to me before a simple email 5 days beforehand would have been good. I can’t recommend this shop and I won’t be shopping there again.

Fantastic customer service, replaced a ring bought 8 months ago, with no hassle whatsoever, and also arranged delivery by courier. Staff so helpful.
